Ms. DiJulio's Message:
Help me give my students a safe, comfortable, calm and nurturing space to regulate and return to learning.
I serve a variety of learners, Kindergarten through 5th grade, even some Pre-K and Middle School Students. Most of the students I work with have the gift of being multilingual and bring complex stories. Some are refugees. Many are dealing with acute trauma. All are navigating a complex world. I want to offer a welcoming space for students to sit in and learn about their emotions, feel safe, regulate, and get back to joining their peers and learning. The books, beanbag chair, and mindful tools will help them feel comfortable and process so they can rejoin their class. In order to meet educational goals, emotional needs must be met. Thank you for considering my project.
