Urgent! Support Language Access in Schools

Right now there is a bill in the house that centers the paramount importance of language services for our families to access information and engagement in their public schools authentically: SHB 1153 Language access in schools. Here is a line from the bill: "Therefore, the legislature intends to require public schools to implement a language access program for culturally responsive, systemic family engagement developed through meaningful stakeholder engagement."
