The Inaugural SE Seattle Move-a-Thon Kicks off May 17

Who Are We? We are a group of twelve Southeast Seattle public school PTA and PTOs who have joined together to create an equitable and collaborative fundraising model while encouraging our kids to actively engage in their school and greater Southeast Seattle school community by getting out and moving together.

MOVE: In mid-May, students will receive a Bingo Board and are encouraged to complete as many squares as they can. Squares will contain activities that can be done alone, as a family or as a community. At the end of May, students will return their BINGO cards to the school for a prize. Students complete the Bingo Board between May 17-28th. Please return your Bingo Boards to your school by May 31st.

GIVE: Ask your neighbors, friends and family members to sponsor you on the Pledge sheet. Ask if they can support you with a flat rate donation or make a pledge to complete a number of squares, a BINGO (5 in a row), or the full board! Donations will be collected at the end of May and then pooled and distributed equally to all participating schools.

Ask your school leaders how to submit your Bingo Board to receive a prize for participation.
