Español Para Todos @ the Playfields (gathers at the Learning Garden)
After School Program Fall 2019
Ages 5-10 Wednesdays 1:30 - 3:30 pm September 11 to December 18 (14 classes) ... (or welcome to join in now... there is a 10 class package below too!)
Light snack (peanut-free) will be provide (fruit, crackers/whole grain bar/string cheese and water). Rate requires one date per family sign up to bring snack for the class.
Class begins at Learning Garden to head into adventure outdoor learning through Rainier Beach Playfield (behind South Shore PK-8), and ends at our meeting rooms at RBCC for 12 classes. (Note 2 class dates: Pick up place for Sep 18 and Oct 30 will be at Rainier Beach Library, due to room rental @ RBCC.)
Pick up for Wednesdays 1:10 pm early release from South Shore school children is included for 1:10-1:30 pm: with South Shore parent volunteer Lauren who walks the group to the Learning Garden for 20 minutes of play until 1:30 opening circle.
Immersion Outdoor Español Para Todos Program has been offered independently at Seward Park for the last two years. We are excited have now the scholarship option for our Outdoor/Indoor Español Para Todos, After School Program Fall 2019. We strongly believe that learning another language can and should be fun, respecting family, friends and community is important in our lives. Our classes are focus on learning the most common communication on a regular day, honoring children own curiosity and empower them to express needs and ideas in Spanish. Spanish vocabulary will be practice outdoor and indoor class, reinforcing learning with fun activities like sports, games, songs, crafts, circle time, storytelling, and reading.
We are native speakers Spanish instructors with CPR, First AID Certification, we are delighted to continue being in touch with families in our South Seattle Community in benefit to all the greatness of our children.
Rates and Payment
$10 one time non-refundable fee to reserve spot: 2019-2020 School Year. Fall 2019 Registration Form below.
Rate scholarship: $300 / fall = 14 Wednesdays- 2 hours each = approximately $10.70/hour.
Healthy snack provided) with one single time commitment to bring snack for the class in the most convenient date for you.
-Available cash option payment plan - 4 monthly payments: 1st payment of $75 due on the second week of Sep, and 3 consecutive payments of $75 each on Oct, Nov and Dec. -Payments are due by the 5th of each month (Sep, Oct. Nov, Dec 2019), payments made after the due date will have $7 charge fee.
10 Classes Registration also available-- with fee lowered for each child/ siblings at South Shore.
